1. What makes a Sharrow Racing Shell better than other manufacturers for lightweight and flyweight rowers?

Each boat, in all aspects, is individually designed and built around the weight and height of the rower.

2. What is the hull constructed of?

Multi-layer, single-skin laminate of 100% carbon-fiber No honeycomb in decks or hull: prevents "dings" and accumulation of moisture which occur over time, causing breakdown of hull and increase in weight

Marine-grade, 6061-T6 aluminum, anodized

4. How much does a Sharrow racing Shell weigh?

Because every boat is custom-built for each individual rower, the weight varies. Singles range from 25-30 pounds. (Boats for the heaviest weight class have more carbon-fiber, heavier riggers, etc.) Doubles range in weight from 51-68 pounds.
