At just a fraction over five feet tall, and weighing only 135 pounds, I quickly realized I had to have a shell that was designed to enable me to compete with the bigger rowers.  I began to build boats that would "fit" me.  I have built over 220 singles and doubles, and have won two national championships in my boats.
